Dermovate Cream. Uses (Indications). Dermovate is a highly potent topical corticosteroid indicated for adults, the elderly and children over 12 years of age for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic symptoms of steroid responsive dermatoses. These diseases include: -Psoriasis (except -widespread plaque psoriasis) -Persistent dermatitis is -difficult to treat. -Lichen planus -Discoid lupus -erythematosus Other skin diseases do not respond satisfactorily to lower potency steroids. Directions: Apply a thin layer and rub in gently enough to completely cover the affected area once or twice daily for up to 4 weeks until improvement occurs, then reduce application or switch to a less potent treatment. Allow sufficient time for the medication to be absorbed after each application before applying an emollient. Consult a physician before using this Cream.
