Sandalwood oil has two main active compounds called alpha-santalol and beta-santalol which are responsible for its fragrance and variety of health properties. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial,effects. It can be applied topically to treat sore muscles and joints, insect bites, eczema, acne, signs of aging, infections, and inflammation. Directions:Dilute 2-3 drops of sandalwood oil with carrier oil and apply it on the areas to treat.
